Dr. Amar Patel is a visionary leader and renowned expert in healthcare education, with a career dedicated to fostering innovation and bridging the gap between theory and practice. His vast experience encompasses roles as Chief Learning Officer, Executive Director, and Project Manager, each marked by a passion for developing cutting-edge educational programs and technological solutions that transform healthcare learning. Dr. Patel maintains over 17 certifications and participates in multiple healthcare quality committees. He is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and a Fellow of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.

In addition to his expertise and research pursuits, Dr. Patel has provided consulting services to organizations worldwide. He specializes in assisting with designing, constructing, and operating simulation and education programs, building return on investment (ROI)/return on expectation (ROE) models, and matching courses/curriculums to program needs. Dr. Patel has also focused on curriculum development, AI and technology integration, program and project management, and quality improvement/assurance initiatives. His global consulting work leveraged his extensive knowledge to help institutions establish effective and innovative learning environments.

Dr. Patel recently served as the Chief Learning Officer at CAE Healthcare, overseeing global healthcare education, staff training programs, and consulting services/solutions footprints. Before CAE, he served as the Executive Director of WakeMed Innovations and the Director of the Center for Innovative Learning at WakeMed Health & Hospitals. In these roles, he led innovation projects within the healthcare system, overseeing the entire process from conceptual designs and theoretical applications to creating new technological solutions and developing innovative care delivery models. Dr. Patel also played a crucial role in integrating technology-based educational programs, such as human patient simulation, healthcare gaming, artificial intelligence (AI), e-learning applications, simulation-based research, and hybrid education. Before his time at WakeMed, he worked as an Advanced Life Support Program Instructor and the Project Manager of Medical Simulation at the University of Maryland, College Park's Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute.

Dr. Patel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in computer music from Goucher College, a Master of Science in Emergency Health Services Education from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, a Master of Business Administration with a focus on business intelligence and analytics, and a Doctorate in Health Sciences from Nova Southeastern University.

Steve has worked for and supported many notable brands, including PepsiCo, Chobani Yogurt, Tropicana, Boars Head Brands, Seagram Brands, and T.P.G. Capital Partners.

His knowledge and passion for strategic thinking shine through everything he does. His work at The Seagram Company was instrumental in executing key acquisitions and introducing game-changing products like Absolut Vodka, Patron Tequila, and Godiva Liquor. At PepsiCo, Steve played a pivotal role in developing the strategic roadmap and commercialization plan and rollout of a National Direct Store Delivery operation that has enabled PepsiCo to provide over $1B of refrigerated products to small-format stores across the US. At Boar’s Head, Steve successfully launched over 20 regional distributorships and created the valuation and sales process to transition each to independent ownership. At Chobani, Steve served as a financial expert and was asked to stand up an internal FP&A organization to support the scale-up and expected IPO of the company. At CAE Healthcare, Steve served as divisional CFO, responsible for all financial functions, including strategic planning, FP&A, controllership, global forecasting, KPIs & business analytics, SIP, capital planning, and business systems.

Steve's dedication extends beyond the workplace. He actively volunteers his time and expertise in positively impacting communities, evident in his leadership roles on several non-profit boards and his consistent support for local and national causes. Two of these include Young Business Leaders of America, and more locally, he is currently active on a local project called SCTI – Skills Challenge, where he serves as a “Shark Tank” judge for HS and Middle School students nurturing their entrepreneurship interests.

Steve earned his M.B.A. in Finance and International Finance from New York University and holds bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, and Sociology from the State University of N.Y. @ Albany. He is also certified as a Leadership Coach through John Maxwell’s Leadership Training Program.

Lieutenant General Giovanni Tuck exemplifies the epitome of service, leadership, and unwavering dedication. His distinguished career, spanning 33 years in the Air Force and beyond, reveals a remarkable professional who has consistently strived to impact operations, logistics, and medical arenas positively.

Following an illustrious military career, including command roles at the squadron, wing, Field level, and Numbered Air Force, Lt Gen Tuck stepped onto a different frontline during the global pandemic. As Deputy Director for Supply, Production, and Distribution for the Federal COVID-19 Response, he helped spearhead a $20 billion effort, ensuring the effective distribution of vaccines and therapeutics to the nation. His strategic acumen and ability to navigate high-pressure situations proved invaluable in safeguarding public health during this critical time.

Lt Gen Tuck's passion for service extends beyond traditional fields. He leveraged his military expertise at CAE Healthcare, spearheading global military and government sales of their cutting-edge training solutions. His vision and leadership played a pivotal role in the company's record-breaking revenue year, showcasing his remarkable ability to translate military prowess into successful commercial ventures. He is now the Chief Executive Officer at Robbins-Gioia, providing planning and scheduling for all US Air Force major weapon systems at three air logistics depot maintenance centers: Ogden, Oklahoma City, and Warner Robins.
